Description
Comfrey, also known as knitbone, has traditionally been used to help repair dry skin, soft tissue and bones. Comfrey root is stronger in action than the leaf. Comfrey root salve is used to help reduce inflammation and pain, while speeding up the renewal and repair to damaged skin, soft tissues and bones.
This comfrey root salve is made using the traditional digestion method, which requires a 10 day process to ensure all the healing qualities of the root are extracted for maximum effectiveness.
The Irish name for Comfrey, “Lus na Cnamh Briste” means “the plant for broken bones.”
